University of North Carolina
Interviewed By: Frank Giardina
It has been over three weeks since the University of North Carolina Tar Heels won the national title in college basketball. And, the students in Chapel Hill are still smiling on Franklin Street.
And, so are the players. Currently they are finishing up an in-state barnstorming tour of high school gyms across the state that has become a tradition for the Carolina seniors.
On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we catch up with a walk-on guard for the Tar Heels, J. B. Tanner.
He shares his thoughts on the pressure that the team was under during its national title run. He also talks about how a loss in the semi-finals to Kansas last season motivated this year’s team.
J. B. also comments on his involvement with Campus Crusade for Christ and how it impacted his personal and social life, as well as his involvement with the team.
It’s a visit with North Carolina guard J. B. Tanner, on Sports Spectrum Today.
