Weekend College Football Predictions
Here are this week’s predictions in college football.
CLEMSON 20, BOSTON COLLEGE 14 – The Tigers have a lot of defensive talent and lost a heartbreaker at Georgia Tech last week. They can not afford to lose at home.
NORTH CAROLINA 24, EAST CAROLINA 20 – How good are the Tar Heels? No one knows. How good is East Carolina? No one knows. We will know more after this game.
CINCINNATI 25, OREGON STATE 23 – This could be one of the best games of the weekend. Oregon State was embarrassed at Cincinnati two years ago.
TEXAS 40, TEXAS TECH 21 – The Longhorns are still stinging from the defeat last season that kept them from playing for the national championship. They would like to turn the tables on the Red Raiders.
KENTUCKY 30, LOUISVILLE 17 – Kentucky’s Rich Brooks may be the most underrated coach in the nation. He has done an incredible job in Lexington.
FLORIDA 37, TENNESSEE 7 – New Vols head coach Lane Kiffin has not endeared himself to Gator fans since his hiring in Knoxville. Urban Meyer may beat the Vols as badly as he can beat them.
WEST VIRGINIA 21, AUBURN 17 – The Mountaineers have had great success against SEC teams in recent years. Mountaineer senior quarterback Jarrett Brown is off to a very good start in his first season as a starter.
