Federer survives and Track & Field begins

Top seed Roger Federer held on for an exhausting victory over 8th seed, Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina and now has a chance for gold.  Today marks the beginning of Track & Field competition in London.    Athletes take part in many preliminaries, including American sprinter Allyson Felix.

More Olympic Gold for Michael Phelps

Michael Phelps defeated fellow American Ryan Lochte in the 200m individual medley on Thursday.  It was his third straight gold medal at these games and he goes after another one later today in the 100m butterfly.
