This is a very special week with Veterans Day celebrated on Wednesday. We start off the week by paying tribute to our nation’s military veterans on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today.
We visit with one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the Naval Academy, John Cartwright.
John followed the great Roger Staubach and led the Midshipmen from 1965-67. He broke all of Staubach’s passing records.
Over time he went from “passer to pastor.” He could have pursued an NFL career, but he chose to go into the ministry. He has been a longtime pastor near Philadelphia.
